Achieve new understandings, freedom and joy in intimacy

An illustrated guide to intimacy and sexual expression for persons with physical disabilities, is now available in paperback. Written by a husband and wife team, one of whom has a disability, and inspired by their own experiences, Enabling Romance affirms and celebrates the desire to give love and intimacy its fullest expression. Individuals and couples with a variety of physical disabilities candidly discuss their intimate experiences with partners—some with disabilities, some without—laying to rest popular myths and stereotypes about relationships and disability. Several chapters are devoted to living and loving with specific disabilities, each including additional resource and referral information. With this guide, people with physical disabilities will discover how a positive self image and a sensitive and caring partner can lead to a rich and rewarding love and sex life. It is recommended reading for all adults with physical disabilities and the people who care for them. Ken Kroll & Erica Levy Klein Illustrated by Mark Langeneckert 212 pages, 5 1/2" X 8 1/2"

Concepts: Things that Go Together

Matching things that go together is a challenging cognitive skill for children with developmental delays to learn. It involves making a leap from, "this ball is the same as this ball", to "the ball and the bat go together". Things That Go Together uses clearly illustrated two piece puzzles to help children master this important developmental concept. The difficulty level can be adjusted by presenting either more or less options. For example: Does the fish go with the fishing rod or the tree? You can keep adding more choices to make the difficulty level match your child's level of learning.
