Ableware Toe Washer

Maintain foot hygiene or apply medication from a seated position

The Ableware Toe Washer fills an important place in foot cleanliness and medication at home. It is an essential aid for arthritics, the elderly, pregnant women, people recovering from hip implant operations and people wearing casts. Diabetics will find it invaluable in helping to prevent foot infection. The toe washer is a soft sponge 1 1/4"x2 1/4"x 5/8" (32x57x22 mm) thick, mounted on a handle 30" (76 cm) long. The grip on the handle is soft foam 1" (25 mm) diameter x 4 5/8" long. The sponge tip can be removed when worn and replaced by new one.

Getting a good grip on crayons

If your child holds crayons clenched in a fist while coloring, try giving Chubbi Stump Crayons or Paint Sticks instead of long crayons. The short thick shape promotes the use on a tripod (three fingered) grasp. You can encourage the use of a mature wrist position by having the child draw on an upright easel.
