Maddapt Flexible Mount Mirror

Useful as a grooming aid.

A hand-held inspection mirror designed especially for paraplegics and others who are susceptible to pressure sores. Also useful as a grooming aid. The oval-shaped, unbreakable mirror measures 4 1/4"x6" (108x152 mm). The flexible "gooseneck" rod is 10 1/2" (267 mm) long and mounted on a 5" (127 mm) plastic handle with adjustable hand strap. Overall length is 22 1/4" (57 cm).

Getting a good grip on crayons

If your child holds crayons clenched in a fist while coloring, try giving Chubbi Stump Crayons or Paint Sticks instead of long crayons. The short thick shape promotes the use on a tripod (three fingered) grasp. You can encourage the use of a mature wrist position by having the child draw on an upright easel.
