Even with the law on your side, sometimes getting a foot in the door is only half the issue. Here are some time-tested ways to get your -- and the ADA's -- way. Every month, this site take on another structural barrier and shows how to take action against it.



What can you do if you are faced by a fence to prevent theft of grocery carts when you go shopping? It can make it impossible to enter the store with a wheelchair.
,First know the law. The ADA and many state Accessibility Codes apply as both require freedom of access for wheelchairs.
