The Down Syndrome Web Page
By: Renata Bursten, Dragonfly Staff

This site is composed of contributions from parents and professional members of the Down Syndrome listserv and newsgroup. Very informative!

Will and Karen, parents who originated this site, hope it will help diminish the time it takes to get past the diagnosis and into understanding that Down Syndrome is a small (though significant) part of who an individual is and can be.

Thousands of families around the world share in the initial surprise and uncertainty that often accompanies hearing the diagnosis of Down Syndrome and have overcome the obstacles faced in creating an inclusive and supportive community for people who have developmental disabilities. They share their hard-won wisdomat this site.

This site also features articles translated into Chinese, Spanish, and French.
